Enjoy your breakfst at your hotel. Around 08:00 am, pick up by our local tour guide and the driver, then, drive to Taung Gyi (approximately 1 hour!), the capital city of Shan State. Taung Gyi won the prize in the year 2005 the Best City of Myanmar and Ideal City. On the way, you can visit the first Official Vineyard of Myanmar producing the wine called Ayetharyar Wine. You can stop at the factory viewing the Vines on the hill-side and try the four different Wines at the Winery Bar enjoy the view overlooking the whole vineyard. Afterwards continue your drive to Taung Gyi and pick up your local Pa-O Guide at the Pa-O National Organization Head-quarters.
Then, drive to Kakku (approximately 2 hours!) ; The Kakku Pagoda Complex is situated in the Pa-O Territory and it is a must to register and buy the entrance ticket at that office as well as to have a Pa-O accompany. Then, drive to Kakku (approx: 2 and a half hours). You will drive past several Pa-O villages on the way and also the fertile lands; Wheat, Sesame, Rice, Cauliflower, Onions and some vegetables are grown in those fields and make some stops to take the photos. Upon arrival at Kakku, you may enjoy lunch first or you can explore Kakku Pagoda Complex first. Kakku has more than 2000 Shan Style pagodas and the complex is well-preserved by the PNO.
You can spend more or less one hour walking around in the precinct taking pictures, observing the tiny figures on the small temples. Walk up to the central Pagoda and meet with the Swine Statue from the legend of pagoda complex. In the afternoon, drive back to Taung Gyi and you can visit one of the Pa-O villages on the way back. After saying farewell to the Pa-O Local Guide continue to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to your hotel.

Today trekking of a half day, we head to the reservoir of Kalaw where the rain water is stored for the consumption of the Kalaw citizens. The trekking trail is a narrow path with no traffic but the chirping sound of the birds and bugs. After an hour or so, you will arrive at the Yay Aye Kan or cool water lake as translated. At the Reservoir, you may take a few minutes break. Then head to the Myin Daik Gyi village where your chef prepares for the home-cooked lunch in the Danu style. Explore the unique life style of Danu hill tribe upon arrival at Myin Daik Gyi village. After lunch, continue your trek to Myin Sai Kone village, another Danu tribe village and finally you will arrive at Myin Daik Station. The station is serving the train passengers as in the colonial days.
If you can arrive at the station before 12:00 noon, you have a chance of taking the train back to the town of Kalaw. Otherwise, we will get a Tok Tok (45 minutes) to get back to Kalaw.
