Detailed Itinerary
Hsipaw Trekking Program 3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1: Hsipaw – Par Phate – Nar Mon – Man Pyit – Pang Kang (-/L/D)
Today we begin the day with a walk from the hotel to the foot of the mountains on the flat path for an hour by passing through the waterfall, natural hot spring and the village Par Phate, Shan village. After visiting Par Phate, we will start to trek on the mountains and keep walking to Nar Mon which is also Shan Village. Then proceed to other Shan village, Man Pyit and along the village, see the marvellous scenery of the countryside and tea plantation. On these mountain ranges, we will see the small different ethnic minorities of Shan which are Gold Palaung, Silver Palaung and Pearl Palaung from time to time. The color of the belts made of the bamboo and a type of long grass mentions the differences of Gold, Silver or Pearl. Then we will keep walking to the Gold Palaung village, Pang Kang where we are going to sleep. We will take night stop at Pang Kang.
Lunch and Dinner would be served with home-cook- food.
Note: You can join the local cook in style of Casual Cooking Class while preparing meals!
Day 2: Pang Kang – Tan San – Pang Khar – Man Loung (B/L/D)
After we have the local breakfast, we start to hit the road again to Tan San. We will see the way of life of Palaung People. Then we will proceed to Pang Khar, other Palaung village and see how the people pick the tea leaves up from the field. And some old Palaung lady, they do weaving the cotton bags for their own use. Afterwards we will hit the road again for Man Loung which is Silver Palaung village. When we go into the village will be in the evening, the time of returning home of the local people and we will walk in the village together with the local people and we can even converse with them. And if you are interested in having a bath in local way, you can do together with the local people in public area (you must have the longyi(sarong)). All the local houses are stilted with the vegetable garden at front and behind the houses. Then we will stay for the night at the local house.

Day 3: Man Loung – Nam Hu – Paikan – Law Khan – Kyan Khin - Hsipaw (B/L/D)
Before leaving the village, Man Loung, we will also explore the village and see how the Palaung people go to the monastery and the people offer the rice and curry to the monastery. Then we leave for the village, Nam Hu which is shan village. The villages we are going to visit today will be shan villages and shan people, they produce three different kinds of tea which are green tea, pickled tea leaf and tea powder of black tea. After Nam Hu, we will keep walking to Paikan and Law Khan.
Then we will proceed to the Toke Toke and keep going to Kyan Khin hot spring and relax for some time. Then, head back to Hsipaw and it would take approximately 45 minutes on Toke Toke. If the time permits, we can visit Bawgyo ancient pagoda which is since Bagan Dynasty in 11th Century.

Detailed Itinerary
Mandalay - Kyauk Me - Hispaw - Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay
Day1: Mandalay - Hispaw (B/-/-)
After breakfast, drive to Hsipaw (approx: 6 hours). On the way, you will drop at Naung Cho Station to take the train bound for Naung Pain Station. The train will pass on the one of the amazing sites that is the famed Goke Hteik Viadut. Then, proceed to Hsipaw by car on arriving at Naung Pain Station. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. After a short rest, visit the ancient pagodas complex which is renowned as A Little Bagan and the old monastery with Bamboo Buddha image which is more than 100 years old.

Day 2: Hsipaw Exploration (B/-/-)
Early morning, go to Jetty of Dukhtawaddy River to take a boat trip upstream to visit the confluence, where in the clear green water, you may dip in to take a swim. You can do a small trekking to the Shan villages. Visit traditional Shan people and talk to them about the daily life. After tasting Shan Noodle at a certain village, walk back to Hsipaw. In the afternoon, you can visit the last Shan Saw Bwar, Shan King’s Residence built in the Colonial Era, and enjoy the sunset from Theim Mountain.

Day 3: Hsipaw – Kyauk Me – Sa Khan Thar – Pyin Oo Lwin (B/-/-)
In the morning, drive to Pyin Oo Lwin. On the way, you can stop for visiting Sa Khan Thar Shan Palace which was Summer Palace of the Sha Prince. Then, continue to Pyin Oo Lwin, the British Hill Station, formerly called as Maymyo. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and free at your leisure.

Day 4: Pyin Oo Lwin – Mandalay (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit Botanical Garden, one of the chains of the Kew Garden in London, which can offer the visitors the ambience of British Colonial Era, BE falls to relax, and then drive up to the Image of Maha Aunt Htoo Kanthar Buddha on the hill where you can see the surrounding area as a partially panoramic view. You should not miss to take a Tour of Stage Coach to explore the town still filled with the Colonial Houses. In the afternoon, drive to Mandalay (approx: 2 hours) and check in at the hotel.
