(option A) Day Return Trekking around Inle Lake Soft-Medium
Inle Lake-Indein – Kyar Ton Pa-O Village -Inle Lake (approx: 4 hours)
In the morning after breakfast, drive by boat to Indein Ruined Pagoda Complex along a small river that sustains Inle Lake by flowing into it. Passing the Large green Myanmar Bamboo forests on the way, you will reach the Ruined Indein pagodas that stand on the hill slope providing a panoramic view to the lake. A small trekking can also be arranged from the pagodas. Then continue your trekking up to Kyar Ton Village approximately 2 hours.
You can walk up to nearby mountain top to see the panoramic view of Indein Pagoda Complex for photographing. Then proceed to Kyar Ton Village, Pa-O Tribal Village. They live mainly from agriculture cultivating chili, garlic, gournd-nut, wheat, sesame. Apart from farming, they produce the Traditional Handicrafts; Bronze Casting, Wood Carvings, and so on. Walk around the village to visit to the workshops, and some villagers. In the afternoon, walk down back to Indein pagoda and then transfer to your hotel.

(Option B) Day Return Trekking around Inle Lake Soft-Medium
Inle Lake – Maing Thauk (Inn Thar Village) – Inle Lake (Maximum; 2 hours)
After breakfast at your hotel, drive by boat to Maing Thauk, a small Inn Thar(Inle Lake Residents) village located on the eastern shore of Inle Lake. It lies on the base of the East Mountain Range that flanks and forms into shape of Inle Lake. Most of the villagers live from farming on the Floating Islands, Fishing, Agriculture on the land, and tourism as well. You can visit, when entering the village, a school where you can make donation of the stationary, books and so on to the students. If your arrival coincide with the market day, Maing Thauk market is so lovely under the big trees where many tribal people, local Inn Thars sell their farm products and buy the things they need for their household.
Introducing the villagers and talking with them sharing with the different cultures will be one of the essences of trekking to those villages. You can continue hiking up to another village located on the slope of the Eastern Hill. One of the highlights of this village is that the villagers have the Cottage Industry producing Shan Pe Pouk (Soya bean), Shan Mohn La Pway (Rice crackers), Fried beans and many more.
In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel in Inle Lake.

Detailed Itinerary
(d-3) Day Return Trekking around Inle Lake Soft-Medium
Trekking to U Daung Hill (Maximum 3 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Indein by your boat. From there you start your trekking to the summit of U Daung Hill. Once, U Daung Hill was very famous for the Buddhist Monk residing at the monastery on top of the hill, called U Daung Hill Sayardaw. He has passed away some years ago and the fame of the hill goes away. The essence of doing this trekking is to see Inle Lake, Indein Pagoda complex and surrounding areas with the Bird’s eyes’ views. Ascending or descending, the views, depending on the altitude you reach, change in its beauty and color.
After 2 hours or less than that, you will reach the summit where you will see the Buddhist Monastery, meditation center, and sometimes you will meet with the Pa-O people coming to offer the Alms-food to the very few monks living at that monastery. You may be offered the food by those visiting merit-doing Tribal people. Descending way down to Inle Lake is fantastic with the very beautiful views to the lake and surroundings making your trekking unforgettable!!! Drive back to your hotel and overnight.
